Buy an e-book or two, paying whatever you can afford

For online retailers like Amazon, I have to charge a fixed price for e-books. (I charge $3 per 100,000 words – 100,000 words being the average length of a novel.)

However, if you buy one of my e-books from Smashwords, you'll see that you get to be the one to choose the price. Maybe you're low-income like I am, and can't pay much. Maybe you have lots of money, and can afford to be generous. Or maybe you're somewhere in the middle. Pay whatever you can afford to pay.

Even if you don't like what I write. If you decide to tell others about my writings, I want your comments to be honest, please.

You can let people know about my writings in any fashion you like: you can post at your blog or at your website or at a social network, you can send an e-mail to a fellow reader, you can tell people face-to-face . . . I'm sure you can think of other ways to help out.

Note that, if you wish to post a review of an e-book, you can request a review copy. (Remember what I said above about keeping your comments honest.) If you'd like to review my e-books, I'd especially appreciate reviews being posted at Smashwords, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, or Goodreads.
